About Stoneridge Enterprises, Inc.

Stoneridge Enterprises, Inc. is a general contracting company, specializing in residential building and remodeling and lite commercial construction. The advantage this company has is the hands on approach taken by the owners. Each of the company's three owners are proficient in all areas of construction and have the skills necessary to complete all phases of any project themselves.

Professional experience

Lester Vaughn - began framing and building homes in 1960. After ten years, he ventured into paving and street construction. He returned to residential construction six years later and began his own framing and remodeling company. In 1989, he and three others combined their talents to form ABV Enterprises, Inc. This company specialized in siding, roofing and construction. Stoneridge Enterprises, Inc. began operations in 2005 when the fourth owner of ABV departed to follow other interests.

 

Steve Bauernschmitt - began roofing houses in 1974 and in 1978 constructed his first home. In 1979, he accepted a position in Engineering Services with the Veterans Administration. His three-year tenure provided experience with institutional remodeling, special project management and industrial coating applications. In 1981, he began his own roofing company and later expanded into residential remodeling. In 1989, he joined in the formation of ABV Enterprises, Inc. In 2005 he was named President of Stoneridge Enterprises, Inc.

 

Gary Vaughn - began framing houses with his father Lester while still in high school. After graduation in 1984, he became partner in Vaughn Construction. In 1989, he worked to organize ABV Enterprise, Inc. After the establishment of Stoneridge Enterprises, Inc., in 2005 he turned his attention to commercial remodeling and tenant make-ready. This work has allowed him to expand his knowledge of metal stud framing and suspended ceiling installation. Gary is also a licensed real estate professional.

Professional support

Carol Hobbs - worked alongside her father, who owned a handyman service, throughout high school. In 1984, she was asked to manage a local hardware store while continuing to work part-time with her father. After earning her certification as a Jr. Draftsperson in 1991, she designed technical drawings for product catalogs while still working retail. In 1994, she accepted a position with ABV Enterprises as an Administrative Assistant. Her duties soon evolved from day to day operations to include estimating, project development and client liaison. She remained onboard during the formation of Stoneridge Enterprises in 2005, assuming the title of Office Manager.
